Jupiter isn't simply styled to look like an engineering product. Its three metal components are precision CNC-machined in Britain from UK-sourced aerospace-grade 6082-T6 aluminium. That gives us control over the design, manufacture and finishing of the razor.
The material is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, while the textured grip offers confident handling. Its closed-comb, scalloped head has a 0.5 mm blade gap, chosen for a mild, controlled shaving character. This is real British manufacturing put to work in an everyday product.

Is the Jupiter suitable for a beginner?

Do I need special Reggie's blades?
No. Jupiter uses widely available standard double-edge safety razor blades. Ten are included to help you get started.
How do I change the blade?
Carefully unscrew the handle, separate the head components and place a fresh blade onto the head, holding blades only by their short, unsharpened sides. Reassemble securely before shaving and dispose of used blades safely.
Is the Starter Set the same as the customisable Jupiter?
Both use the Jupiter Aluminium razor design. The Starter Set offers a complete, single-colour razor with a blade sampler at £59; the separate Jupiter Aluminium listing offers more freedom to customise the colour combination.
